Country Guesthouse in Clifden

Originally a Connemara homestead dating from the early 19th century, Dolphin Beach has been extensively refurbished. Each of the bedrooms has an exceptional view. All have been finished to exacting standards, with high ceilings, wooden floors, modern bathrooms and under floor heating. Billy Foyle's interest in woodwork is reflected throughout the house.

There are 14 acres of natural landscape surrounding the house and a small sandy cove a short walk through the gardens, safe for swimming. Dolphin beach is uniquely located on the sky road with the Atlantic Ocean at the bottom of the garden. Connemara quartz hills flank the back of the house and Clifden Bay and Mannin Bay stretch out to the Atlantic in the front.

Clifden town, bustling with pubs and restaurants is just 12 minutes drive away and there is an excellent taxi service available for night owls.
